From 2017 routine whole genome sequencing will be performed on all TB samples collected in England.
St. Catherine's College of the University of Oxford is organizing a one-day conference on 13 March 2017 to update practitioners on the upcoming launch of routine whole genome sequencing and the implications for TB diagnosis, management, and control.
The conference is aimed at all those involved in the diagnosis, management, and prevention of TB, including hospital and public health consultants; trainees in respiratory medicine, infectious diseases, microbiology and public health; TB nurses; biomedical scientists; and public health staff.
