Central and Eastern Europe is a hotspot for drug-resistant TB and most countries in the region face similar threats and opportunities.
A correspondence published in The Lancet Infectious Diseases describes a newly established consortium, Partnership to Fight Against TB in Central and Eastern Europe (FATE), set up by the relevant TB authorities in the region, including the national reference laboratories.
