The Stop TB Partnership Working Group on New TB Vaccines presents the Tuberculosis Vaccine Candidates 2011, as an update of the 2009 Pipeline.
This pipeline represents the tremendous advancements that have been made in the past decade. Between 2000 and 2010, scientists in the public and private sectors were able to move an unprecendented 15 vaccine candidates into clinical trials. The current global vaccine pipeline also has five candidates being tested in preclinial programs and at least an additional 34 in early development.
