Celebrating 50 countries: An update on the Global TB Caucus (message from Dr. Lucica Ditiu)
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
Four months ago I reached out to you to ask for your help in
mobilizing Members of Parliament and elected officials to join
the Global TB Caucus and sign the Barcelona Declaration, a call
to action committing parliamentarians to take political
leadership to secure an end to the tuberculosis epidemic within
a generation.
The response has been a huge success -
thanks to your outreach, there are now nearly 400
parliamentarians signed up from 50 countries (see the list
here).
With less than six months left until the
Global TB Caucus Meeting in Cape Town in November 2015,
this is a great time to use the Barcelona Declaration to build
new links and reach out to parliamentarians who have not yet
signed to ask their support to End TB and join a growing global
movement.

could share this message with other TB champions in your
network.
Let's celebrate the milestone of
parliamentarians from 50 countries declaring their support for
the End of the TB epidemic within a generation, and work
