TB-PACTS initiative accepting requests for access
The TB-PACTS initiative represents a collaborative partnership between the Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Disease (TDR), the TB Alliance, St. George’s University of London, and Critical Path Institute (C-Path).
The TB-PACTS data platform is designed to catalyze and accelerate innovative tuberculosis (TB) research by making aggregated Phase III TB clinical trial data publically available to qualified researchers. It provides a one-stop data source for clinical metadata on Mtb that is currently scattered across numerous public and private databases.
TB-PACTS serves accelerate the development of novel TB drug and drug regimens by providing aggregated, curated, and validated data that is easily accessible under one platform. Approved researchers can access patient-level data from the REMoxTB, RIFAQUIN and OFLOTUB clinical trials, free of charge.
To-date 16 research institutes have accessed this platform to drive innovative project analyses.
