Kenya’s TB burden gets worse
Kenya has been listed as a multidrug-resistance tuberculosis (MDR-TB) high-burden country, joining eight other nations grappling with the deadly disease globally, a United Nations report shows.
The World Health Organisation said the country also features in all the three high-burden country lists with tuberculosis, MDR-TB and TB/HIV cases and deaths.
