WHO Programme Budget Portal
The World Health Organization (WHO) Programme Budget Portal is a new website providing further details of the Organization’s work, financing and implementation progress.
With quarterly updates the Portal will present a better breakdown of the Organization’s work, navigating through the different categories, programmes and outputs through which WHO’s work is delivered. Countries now specify the financial details at output level in order to meet WHO’s requirement for the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) compliance.
IATI compliance
Following WHO commitment to become IATI compliant in 2017, the Organization has implemented the IATI standard by both offering easily accessible country pages with all the relevant information such as budget, expenditures and funding up to the output level. It also offers downloads of country data in the IATI standard (XML) files.
