The Call to Action for a TB-Free India is a campaign to bring together all stakeholders to unite against TB. The campaign is part of the Global Challenge TB project, funded by USAID, and implemented in India by The Union South-East Asia Office in close collaboration with Government of India. Recent meetings were held for civil society organisations and corporate leaders, and the campaign will culminate in a Call to Action Summit in March 2016.

Public Health Action is The Union's free access, online journal. The journal aims to promote the vision of The Union, Health solutions for the poor, by disseminating new knowledge on health systems and health services for vulnerable groups, with a priority on tuberculosis, lung health, non-communicable diseases and related public health issues.

Seven health professional organisations in Indonesia have joined together to sign a consensus statement on tuberculosis and diabetes mellitus – two diseases whose inter-relationship is causing great concern.

The Central TB Division (CTD) of India's Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has announced policy changes based on operational research (OR) conducted by participants in The Union–Médecins sans Frontières OR courses in 2011–2012.
