India: NHRC issues notices to Union Health Secretary and Health Secretaries of All States/UTs on shortage of TB drugs

New Delhi, 26th June, 2013 -- The National Human Rights Commission has taken suo motu cognizance of a media report that the treatment of lakhs of tuberculosis (TB) patients, especially children, across the country has been in jeopardy due to severe shortage of key TB drugs in the country over the past few weeks.
