The growing threat of drug-resistant TB is a major contributor to the global burden of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and a significant cause of AMR deaths. New vaccines are urgently needed to tackle this crisis. Yet, despite the huge threat posed by drug-resistant TB, political and financial support falls dangerously short of what is needed to effectively address this threat.
