The winners of this year’s Kochon Awards and the Stop TB Affected Community and Civil Society Awards were announced during the Stop TB Partnership 34th Board Meeting held virtually on 28-30 September 2021.

On the sidelines of this year’s United Nations General Assembly, TB affected communities and civil society organizations held two events to push for greater accountability in TB.

The Stop TB Partnership announced the successful grantees under the Round 10 of the Challenge Facility for Civil Society 2021, which will support 76 organizations from 27 countries and seven regions with grants ranging from USD 20 000 to USD 150 000,  for a total of USD 7,5 million.

The Stop TB Partnership welcomed the new leadership of the Stop TB Partnership Board, India’s Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Mr. Mansukh Mandaviya, as the new Chair of the Stop TB Partnership Board with immediate effect and until 2024. The Minister will lead the efforts of the Stop TB Partnership Secretariat, partners, and the TB community at large, towards reaching the UN TB targets by 2022, a milestone moment in the effort to end TB by 2030.
