The United Nations General Assembly has agreed to hold a High-Level Meeting on TB in 2018.

14 December 2016 - Geneva, Switzerland - The Stop TB Partnership today launched two new briefs on TB vulnerable populations, focusing on health care workers, and on PLHIV.

8 December 2016 – Astana, Kazakhstan – The Resolution that summarizes recommendations for the migrant-specific patient-oriented approach to address TB in the Central Asian Region was adopted today at the conclusion of a two-day meeting. It brought together government officials, representatives of National TB programs, international NGOs and civil society, migration authorities and partners from the Central Asian countries of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine and Armenia.

07 November 2016 - Geneva, Switzerland - The Stop TB Partnership and its partners are pleased to announce the launch of a social impact fund called Venture Lab (vLAB), which will pool and blend private and public capital to address systemic barriers in the TB space. The organization also announced that one of its Private Sector Constituency members has made an initial donation to the fund.

On July 16 the Stop TB Partnership and Médecins Sans Frontières launched Step up for TB campaign calling on all countries to update their TB policies in line with the latest WHO policies within 500 days.
