The new child-friendly pediatric TB formulations are being successfully rolled out globally in 27 countries by the Stop TB Partnership’s Global Drug Facility.

28 September 2016, Geneva, Switzerland - The Stop TB Partnership received over 530 proposals, with a total ask of more than USD 266 million, in response to its recent funding call through the TB REACH grants platform. This is an unprecedented level of interest from the overall TB community for funding innovations in service delivery.

The High-Level Meeting would bring together Heads of States, political leaders, U.N. agencies, and people affected by TB to push for a renewed and well-funded global response at the highest political levels in order to end TB.

The Stop TB Partnership's Global Drug Facility (GDF) has published its 2016 Catalogue. The catalogue details prices and descriptions of products that can be ordered through GDF. Countries and programmes that enable health care providers to treat patients according to the latest WHO treatment guidelines can procure quality-assured products through GDF.

TB REACH initiative is now accepting applications to fund innovative TB approaches and technologies. The deadline for applications is 5 September 2016.

The End TB Strategy and the Global Plan to End TB 2016-2020 call for a fundamental change to the ways TB prevention and care programs are funded and implemented to achieve a significant reduction in the number of people developing TB each year.

On July 16 the Stop TB Partnership and Médecins Sans Frontières launched a campaign calling on all countries to update their TB policies in line with the latest WHO policies within 500 days.

11 July 2016 - Antananarivo, Madagascar - The Francophone Parliamentary Assembly (FPA), the Stop TB Partnership, and the non-governmental organization Global Health Advocates today signed a cooperation agreement to work towards bringing an end to tuberculosis (TB). This Agreement is a first step in creating a vast network of francophone Members of Parliament (MPs) engaged in ending the epidemic.
