On 1 April 2021, Treatment Action Group (TAG) and the TB Europe Coalition co-hosted a webinar, Demanding a higher standard of TB care in Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA). The webinar marked the launch of TAG’s TB Activist’s Guides recently translated to Russian and featured speakers who discussed policy gaps and advocacy strategies for activists to demand access to the highest standard of care for TB diagnosis, treatment, and prevention in EECA.

On 3 March 2021, the TB Europe Coalition and the Regional Expert Group on Migration and Health in Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA) co-hosted a webinar addressing the barriers migrants face when accessing TB and healthcare services across the EECA countries and the challenges for service delivery.

The TB Europe Coalition released a policy brief aiming to increase the meaningful engagement of civil society organizations and TB affected communities in the implementation of the Multisectoral Accountability Framework on TB in the time of COVID-19 pandemic in the Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA) region.

The TB Europe Coalition and the Regional Expert Group on Migration and Health in Eastern Europe and Central Asia are coordinating a series of 3 webinars on TB and migrant health. The webinars will address the barriers migrants face when accessing TB and healthcare services across the World Health Organization European Region and the challenges for service delivery.
